Pizza and parallel universes: two great tastes that taste great together. At least, that’s what I’ve come to believe after giving this seemingly unlikely pairing some thought.
You see, the concept of parallel universes is based on the idea that for every decision we make, a new universe is created where the opposite choice was made. In other words, there are an infinite number of alternate universes existing alongside our own, each with its own set of physical laws and possible outcomes.
And where does pizza come in, you ask? Well, every time you decide to add a new topping to your pizza, or switch up the sauce, you are creating a new version of that pizza in a parallel universe. In those alternate universes, the possibilities for what your pizza could look like are endless.
For example, in one universe you might have decided to go all out and add every topping imaginable to your pizza, creating a veritable feast for the senses. In another universe, you might have opted for a simple cheese pizza, letting the flavors of the dough and sauce speak for themselves. And in yet another universe, you might have decided to ditch the traditional toppings altogether and create a pizza with unexpected ingredients like peanut butter and jelly, or even sushi.
But it’s not just the toppings that make each pizza unique. In parallel universes, the dough and sauce can vary as well. In one universe, you might have used a gluten-free crust and a spicy tomato sauce, while in another you might have gone for a thick, chewy crust and a rich, creamy Alfredo sauce. The possibilities are truly mind-boggling.
So the next time you sit down to enjoy a slice of pizza, take a moment to consider all the other versions of that pizza that exist in parallel universes. And who knows, maybe in one of those alternate realities, you’re munching on a slice topped with all your wildest dreams.
